THE STORY SO FAR...
As soon as Asha could speak, she could sing. It's almost as if she was born with an astonishing gift that the world is destined to hear. Even as a toddler, Asha would sing along to her mum's favourite tunes in perfect pitch!
But Asha was very shy as a child. She would even sit on her mum’s lap during school assemblies, too frightened to join in, although she seems to be making up for lost time now!
In 2016, everything changed when she met David Payne - her primary school teacher with a background in entertainment - who encouraged her to develop her talent.
With David's help, Asha gained the confidence to sing in front of the class, joined the school choir and even performed a starring role as Nala in the school's production of The Lion King.
David believed in Asha's talent so much that when Asha left primary school, he gave up his 20-year career as a successful teacher and became her mentor, manager and music producer.
Other professionals were quickly brought into the team to help take Asha to the next level and Asha started learning from some of the best performing arts teachers in the area.
Fast forward four years and Asha has released over 20 songs, has amassed over 500,000 views on Facebook and has even reached no. 33 in the Amazon charts.
Asha has now founded her own record label and is currently releasing music on a regular basis to build a following and pursue a career as an independent music artist.
Despite still being only 15 years of age, Asha has already performed her live show at a variety of theatres, music venues and radio stations across the UK.
Asha's latest release, Real Magic, was even featured on a Guinness World Record for magician Martin Rees that amassed over a quarter of a million views around the world!
